“Semana Santa” is a Super-8 film I produced while I was a student at the San Francisco Art Institute in 1974.  It includes footage shot in Mexico and Guatemala.  Despite technical shortcomings, I believe that the documentation of the Maximón procession and the ritual removal of Christ on the cross from the church to the street in Santiago Atitlán may be of historical interest.
